What this tool does
Most fit problems have a specific cause and a specific fix. Tell it what is going wrong — band riding up, straps slipping, cups gapping or spilling, wires poking — and it explains why that happens and which size or style change resolves it. Several problems can be selected at once, and the suggested size changes are combined.
Common Bra Fit Problems & Solutions
Band Rides Up
Cause: Band is too loose
Fix: Go down a band size (and up a cup size to compensate). The band should be snug on the loosest hook.
Straps Slip Off
Cause: Sloped shoulders, straps too loose, or band too big
Fix: Tighten straps, try a racerback converter, or go down a band size.
Cups Gap
Cause: Cup too big or wrong shape for your breasts
Fix: Try a smaller cup size or a different cup shape (e.g., plunge vs full coverage).
Spillage Over Cups
Cause: Cup too small
Fix: Go up one or more cup sizes until all tissue is contained with no bulging.
Underwire Pokes
Cause: Cup too small, wire too narrow, or bra worn out
Fix: Try a larger cup, different wire width, or replace old bras.
Gore Doesn't Tack
Cause: Cups too small or close-set breasts
Fix: Go up in cup size, or try a plunge style with lower gore.
